Y A Y !
We're in the DAILY POST today - thanks to Kate and her networking - and on Radio Merseyside tomorrow evening - will keep you posted on what time etc.
FAME! sigh!
On the down side though, A BIG RASPBERRY to the 3 people who came to the workshops and walked out with piles of our supplies and even took our signs down off the craft tables and walked off with the metal flower stands that they were attached to! Unbelievable - we know who you are !!!

It's so nice at the Gallery, our Surf Shack Cafe is proving to be a great idea - free coffee, tea, juice, biccies or fruit and tables to sit around & have a chat. C O M E O N D O W N !!
A big hello to the two BRAVE builders who came over to check out the exhibition in hard hats & yellow coats - we had a good chat over a coffee about art, getting older and mental health.! That's when you realise holding the exhibition is such a good idea and how you can reach the wider community and talk about mental health in an open manner.......
Workshops have been a big success so far too - we've had a great turn out and people have really enjoyed themselves. Comments like 'we've felt so welcome' and 'f'eel so relaxed' and 'had lots of fun' are a regular feature ! Some of the jewellery people made to day was stunning - photos to follow soooon.

WHEW !!!!!!!! IT'S ALL HAPPENING AT THE IMAGINE ART EXHIBITION 09!!!!!!
THE PRIVATE VIEW EVENING WAS JUST GREAT. WE'LL HAVE PHOTOS UP SOON - WE'RE SO BUSY WE CAN'T FIND TIME TO BLOG!! YIKES!
YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO COME & SEE US DOWN AT THE GALLERY. WORKSHOPS SO FAR HAVE BEEN LOADS OF FUN.

We've added more activities & workshops - yes, as if it couldn't get any better!
We'll be having a Pottery workshop on Wednesday July 22nd
and a Chinese Calligraphy workshop on July 23rd
- don't forget on the Treat Yourself Well Day the people from Lush will be there with gorgeous free samples, and, on Embrace Your Environment Day we have Park Ranger,John, to talk about all things wild and natural!

We've had a great response for the call for entries into the exhibition 
but we've decided to extend the deadline to Friday, July 3rd.
This is because some people have been a bit confused about when they have to have their artwork ready. They thought they had to have it ready for the June 19th deadline. No, no, this is just the deadline for entrants to send their ENTRY FORM in.
BUT NOW WE'VE EXTENDED THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRY FORMS TO FRIDAY JULY 3RD.
YOUR ARTWORK NEEDS TO BE READY FOR JULY 16th - (WHEN IT HAS TO BE DELIVERED TO THE GALLERY). SO THAT GIVES YOU FOUR MORE WEEKS TO COMPLETE YOUR WORK
Last year we had 83 artists exhibiting their work - we'd love to reach the 100 artist mark this year, so keep on entering.
This year's exhibition will be bigger & better with lots more workshops & activities on offer... and all F R E E.

Only a week to go for the entry deadline!

We're thinking about extending the deadline though so keep checking the websit for updates.
We're collecting so much 'junk' in the office we can hardly see our desks...!....but we'll turn it into something lovely AND useful
